Voices of Bangalore – Choral concert

Choral concert with The Bangalore Men and Sophia High School Choir. The choirs will present highlights from their repertoire and the concert also marks the inauguration of Voices of Bangalore.
The Bangalore Men
An all-male voices ensemble launched in January of 2016 consists of 16 singers, all with many years of previous experience singing in choirs. The group focuses on Western classical music, from eras ranging from medieval music to contemporary, and is conducted by Jonas Olsson, voice faculty at Bangalore School of Music. In the three years active, the choir has performed extensively all over India, with more than twenty concerts per year.
The Sophia High School Choir
The 50 member chorale group has sopranos, altos and tenors. Many of them are adapt at playing varied musical instruments. They have taken part in several competitions and won laurels for the institution. Chiseling them to perfection is their teacher Abishek Gnanaraj who is an accomplished pianist, singer and a faculty of the Bangalore School of Music.
