Percussion takes centerstage in this concert with the SOI Chamber Orchestra and Ney Rosauro, who is recognized as one of the most original and dynamic symphonic percussionists and composers today. A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Rosauro has developed a successful international career as a percussionist, composer and pedagogue. Rosauro will join the SOI Chamber Orchestra and Resident Conductor Evgeny Bushkov in a programme featuring his concerti for marimba and vibraphone.
