The Bangalore Men with a program of a capella music from various eras by composers such as Purcell, Händel, Byrd, Lotti and Schubert. Welcome to enjoy timeless music combined with the finest art works, as presented by acclaimed painter, Ms Rama Sharma.
The event marks the opening of an exhibition by Ms Sharma, labelled The Humming Tree, celebrating the various beautiful aspects of trees, and how the music allows us to grow and widen our views, stretching our minds like branches of a tree in bloom.
The Bangalore Men – an all-male voices ensemble launched in January of 2016, consists of 9 singers, all with many years of previous experience singing in choirs.
The performance is presented in affiliation with The Bangalore School of Music and Chitra Kala Parishath.
