A quirky soprano with a love for puns, Shubhangi Das is currently a second year student studying Voice Performance and Opera at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore. While her primary focus is channeling air through her voice box to breathe life into libretti of poets and composers, her snarky fountain pen has channeled its way into writing articles and critical reviews for the Bangalore Mirror, the NIE -Times of India and the Straits Times. She has also performed Carnegie Hall in 2015 as a 1st place winner of the Golden Voices of America in the categories of Western Classical Music and Musical Theatre and has recently also worked in ‘Fix’ The Musical as Lust. Apart from this, she has also been a member of the Harmony Chorus and has studied voice under Ms. Sandra Oberoi and Alan Bennett.
